Entrance & Seating Procedures

Entrance Procedures
An Arena Experience Pass is required to enter Chase Center. If you purchased, or were assigned an Arena Experience Pass, this will be clearly marked on your event badge. Due to capacity limitations, no passes will be sold at the door. If you do not have an Arena Experience Pass, you will not be able to attend the Championship Sunday Arena Experience at Chase Center, but there will be many other opportunities to watch the livestream.

Doors to access the Championship Sunday Arena Experience will be at the West Entrance of Chase Center, located at Thrive City Plaza.

The same event badge that you pick up at registration will be your pass to enter. Badges must be worn and displayed at all times. Badges must be picked up in advance at the badge pickup area, located at Moscone West. There will not be an opportunity to collect your badge on-site at Chase Center.

Seating Procedures
Attendees with an Arena Experience Pass are guaranteed a seat inside Chase Center, and reentry is permitted while the Championship Sunday event is taking place.

Upon entering Chase Center, you will be issued a wristband that coordinates with the specific seating sections and groupings of portals you will use to access seats. There will be portal numbers printed on the wristband to help navigate you to your assigned seating sections. Sections are assigned based on capacity at the time of entry, so it is recommended that you enter Chase Center with your entire party to ensure you will all be able to sit in the same section.

You may move freely within Chase Center without losing your ability to access a seat in your assigned sections as long as you remain inside the arena. If you exit Chase Center, your wristband will be cut off. While reentry is available to you at any time during the event, you may be assigned to a different seating section upon reentry. Due to this policy, leaving your possessions behind to “reserve” a seat is not permitted.

Championship Sunday Arena Experience FAQs

How do I know if I have access to the Championship Sunday Arena Experience?
Attendees who purchased passes to the Championship Sunday Arena Experience during registration will have access to Chase Center. Other attendees, such as VIPs, Competitors, Competitor Guests, Media, and Creators, may have access to Chase Center depending on RSVP. Access will be clearly noted on the event badge you receive at badge pickup. Arena badges will have the word “ARENA” printed on the badge.

How do I get to Chase Center from Moscone Center?
Public Transportation:

Chase Center can easily be accessed by using the T Metro Line on the Muni. Travelers can get on at the Yerba Buena / Moscone stop and exit at the Chase Center stop for the closest drop-off location.

Parking:

On-site parking at Chase Center Garage (located at 99 Warriors Way, San Francisco, CA) must be prepurchased via Chase Center’s transportation website. There will not be an option to pay on-site for parking on the day of the event. Parking availability is expected to reach capacity, so purchasing advanced on-site parking as early as possible will give you the best chance at guaranteeing a parking spot.

For more information, please visit [Chase Center’s transportation website].

Rideshare:

If you’re getting to the event via rideshare service, enter “Chase Center” as your destination. You’ll find passenger loading zones on Terry Francois Boulevard that are marked with white curbs.

Alternatively, if you are dropped off along 3rd Street between Warriors Way and 16th Street, that will be the closest location to access the main entrance via the West Entrance, located at Thrive City Plaza.

When should I arrive at Chase Center?
Queuing on-site for the Championship Sunday Arena Experience at Chase Center will not be allowed before 7:00 a.m. PDT on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Do not arrive before this time as you will be turned away. Doors for the arena will open at approximately 8:00 a.m. PDT and the finals are planned to start at 9:00 a.m. PDT. Doors will remain open for entry until the end of the closing ceremonies.

Will Chase Center reach capacity, and if so, will I be denied entry?
No. Passes were sold in advance to ensure that everyone who has a pass for the Championship Sunday Arena Experience will be able to enter and reenter Chase Center at any time during the event. If you do not have a valid pass for the Arena Experience, you will be denied entry.

What do the portal numbers on my wristband mean?
“Portal” is the term that Chase Center uses to refer to the entryways into the arena bowl sections that are accessed via the concourse. You will use the portal numbers printed on your wristband to guide you to where you are eligible to sit. Please follow the arena signage to locate those portals for assigned seating access.

Can I leave my seat to go to the restroom, purchase concessions, or visit a photo spot within Chase Center?
Yes! Your wristband will list a grouping of portals in which you will be able to find a seat, even if you leave your seat.

The views within the grouped portal sections are comparable throughout, so while you may not have the same exact seat when you return, you will be directed to an available seat within your assigned grouping of sections. Due to this policy, leaving your possessions behind to “reserve” a seat is not permitted.

If I leave Chase Center, will I be guaranteed the same seating section upon reentry?
No, your assigned section is reserved for you only while you remain within the arena. When you leave, your wristband will be cut off, thus removing your access to that seating section.

Upon reentry, you will be given a new wristband, which may or may not be for the same section you were assigned to previously.

What if my friends are assigned to a different section than me?
For the best chance of getting everyone in your party seated together, please enter Chase Center at the same time. Wristbands cannot be collected on behalf of guests who are not present.

The earlier in the day that you arrive, the better the chance that larger groups will be able to sit in seats directly next to each other.

Seating sections may fill quickly, so late arrivals may be placed in a different section.

Guests wishing to relocate to a different section can make the request at the Help Desk. Our team will try to move your whole party to the same section if available. Your entire party must be present at the time of section reallocation to ensure everyone gets assigned to the same section.

What if I need accessible seating?
Chase Center has accessible seating in most seating sections. Guests needing wheelchair-accessible seating should alert an usher at the portal entrance.

If you need to leave your accessible seat to visit the concourse but wish to keep the same accessible seat reserved, please alert an usher and they will try to accommodate the request.

Can I leave things at my seat to save it while I go back to Moscone Center?
No. Guests leaving Chase Center forfeit their access to their assigned seating section and may not be reseated in the same section upon reentry. Because of this, we do not allow unattended seats to be reserved with items. Items left unattended will be given to Security.

What If I only want to come to Chase Center for the Closing Ceremony?
You are welcome to attend just one event at the arena, but we do anticipate all seats to fill. Seat assignment location is based on current availability. This could mean you will be assigned a seat higher in the bowl, and larger parties may be split.

If Arena Experience Passes have sold out, does this mean Chase Center will be full the entire day?
No, there may be times when the arena appears to have available seats. However, those seats are reserved for attendees with an Arena Experience Pass, ensuring everyone with an Arena Experience Pass is able to come and go as needed while guaranteeing they still have a seat.

If I did not get an Arena Experience Pass, will I be able to purchase one on-site?
No. All Arena Experience Passes must have been secured in advance, and passes will not be sold at the door. Please do not come to Chase Center on Sunday if you do not have an Arena Experience Pass, as you will be turned away at the door.

Where can I watch the finals if I am not able to purchase an Arena Experience Pass?
All Championship Sunday events will be broadcast live from the main event, located at Moscone Center.

Can I bring a stroller, suitcase, or wagon into Chase Center?
Strollers are permitted inside the arena.

Suitcases and wagons, however, are not. We recommend leaving these at your hotel, as the baggage check may not be able to accommodate large items.

Please review the full list of prohibited items prior to arriving to Chase Center.

Will there be bag storage options available if I bring something that can’t enter Chase Center?
Yes, there will be two options for bag storage on the North (Warriors Way) and South (16th Street) side of the building, available for use for a fee.

Please note that it is prohibited to store drugs or weapons of any kind.

Due to size restrictions, we highly recommend arranging storage for your larger items and bags with your hotel rather than bringing the items to Chase Center for storage.

Storage access will be provided on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to availability.
