Side Events
Whether you’re a Competitor or a Spectator, the 2026 North America International Championships includes a wide variety of Side Events for all badged attendees. With the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the Pokémon Champions video game, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and even titles like Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket or Pokémon Legends: Z-A being played all weekend, there’s something for everyone. Come enjoy your favorite games and earn amazing prizes with Trainers from all around the world!
Registration for Side Events can be done online for NAIC. On-site, please look for the Side Events Hive for more information on registration. Most Side Events require an entry fee.

With so many Pokémon titles being played at NAIC, including Pokémon Champions, please be sure to review the hardware and software requirements for the Side Events you’re registering for.
Prizes
The prize wall closes early Sunday afternoon. Prizes must be claimed by that time. See the Side Events area at the venue for more details.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Pokémon GO’s NAIC Limited Meta format
Created specifically for the 2026 North America International Championships, the NAIC Limited Meta format shakes up Pokémon GO, and it’s not just for Trainers in the Main Event to enjoy - Side Event Trainers can experience the same exciting format featuring Fairy, Normal, Psychic, and Water-type Pokémon! Whether you’re a seasoned Pokémon GO Competitor or want to relive your favorite moments from the NAIC broadcast, this unique format will be used for the Pokémon GO Switch Series tournament, the Pokémon GO Sisterhood League, as well as various other Side Events throughout the weekend.

SPOTLIGHT ON: The Switch Series
Saturday, June 13th - 9:30 a.m.
The Switch Series is a set of large scheduled events held on Saturday morning. These are larger and longer events with even more prizes on the line, including the top prize of a Nintendo Switch™ 2 system for each tournament’s champion.
TCG - Switch Series
A multi-round event (number of rounds based on attendance) in the Standard format. All players receive Prize Tickets based on their record, Top Cut players will compete for additional prizes, including the coveted Nintendo Switch™ 2 system!

SPOTLIGHT ON: Pokémon Sisterhood League
The Pokémon Sisterhood League is a side event series to celebrate the women and nonbinary Trainers that are a part of our community! An inclusive tournament open to all women and nonbinary Trainers in attendance, we hope that these events serve to create a safe and welcoming space for our Trainers.
